Community Snapshots set to be highlight of Capricornia Catchments AGM

We encourage you to join us for our AGM and celebration of the wonderful achievements of landholders and community groups as we work towards creating more sustainable environments in Central Queensland.

We have a packed program commencing with morning tea at 10am followed by formal presentations at 10:30am. Guest speaker Peter Armstrong (Catchment Management Officer Environmental Operations Sunshine Coast Council) will present an outline on their efforts in controlling sediment loss across agriculture, transport corridors and housing development which may give us ideas on how we can incorporate these strategies to address local issues.

Local groups have been invited to showcase their recent achievements and there will be opportunity to hear more detailed information at the quick-fire snapshot session after lunch before we wrap up the event by 2pm.

For more information and to RSVP see flyer here.
